On January 18, 2026, at 10:08 AM, the first phase (Northern Section) of Tianjin Rail Transit Line Z4 officially commenced operation. As one of Tianjin’s 20 key livelihood projects in 2025, this 23.7-kilometer north-south backbone line connects the northern part of Binhai New Area with its core zone, linking 10 stations including Zhaishang Station, Han Gu Hospital Station, and Aircraft Carrier Park Station, establishing a half-hour living circle—it takes only 27 minutes from Zhaishang Station to Beitang Station, significantly improving regional commuting efficiency and injecting strong momentum into the integration of culture and tourism as well as the development of information technology innovation industry.

With a maximum operating speed of 120 km/h, Line Z4 places higher demands on the safety, reliability, and intelligence of platform door system. During trial rides, its smooth and quiet operation complemented the modern station environment, becoming a vital “safety barrier” at the stations and earning widespread praise from citizens.
With the opening of Northern Section of Tianjin Line Z4’s first phase, the transportation system of Binhai New Area has undergone a comprehensive upgrade, continuously unleashing urban development vitality.
