On April 8, the prototype acceptance for the platform screen door project of Dominican Republic Monorail was successfully completed under the full witness of client, with all tests passed in a single attempt. Notably, this marks the first metro line in the Dominican Republic to be equipped with Kangni platform screen doors, holding significant importance for the local community. The successful acceptance also lays a solid foundation for future collaboration between both parties.
Representative from SOFRATESA, the client of the Dominican Republic Monorail project, visited Kangni to conduct the prototype acceptance. During the visit, the client representative toured Kangni Railway Transport General Dept. and Kangni Electronics Company, gaining insights into the company’s development history, core products, and overseas platform screen door market operations. The client representative observed the smart factory’s automated production lines and digital management processes in person, expressing approval of the overall production control systems.
Subsequently, the client representative proceeded to the prototype testing area, where comprehensive tests on the product prototype are performed. From functional tests to operational logic verification, the client representative meticulously inspected every detail and provided positive feedback on the prototype’s design and performance. Through the close collaboration and meticulous planning of the project team, all acceptance tests were completed successfully.
In a related milestone, the client for the Santiago Line 7 Platform Screen Door Project—Metro de Santiago (Chile)—visited Kangni in December 2024 for prototype acceptance. The smooth approval marked a critical milestone for the project and further strengthened the foundation for ongoing cooperation.
