Recently, KN held a grand opening ceremony for its French Kangni European Innovation Development Center in Paris. Kangni European Innovation and Development Center is an important exploration and practice for Kangni to implement its overseas development strategy for effective international development. The Innovation Development Center will integrate three functional modules of business development, technology R&D and product service, with the purposes to promote European market development, lead technological innovation and upgrade, and to explore new path for Kangni’s overseas business.
At the opening ceremony, Mr. Wang Biao, Deputy Secretary General of China Association of Metros, Mr. Qian Long, Director Representative of Jiangsu Economic and Trade Representative Office in France, Ms. AMELIE LANDMANN, International Project Officer of Paris Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and other government and industry representatives were invited to the ceremony. Vice Chairman and President of Kangni Mr. Gao Wenming, Vice President of Kangni Mr. Wang Yadong, President Assistant and General Manager of Railway Transport General Department Mr. Bi Guangming, Deputy General Manager of Railway Transport General Department Mr. Tangchun, Mr. Liu Luoming, Mrs. Huang Jia, and all employees of Kangni France subsidiary participated the ceremony. The meeting was held by Mr. Lin Zijian and Mr. Dimitri from Kangni France
Ms. Huang Jia, Deputy General Manager of Kangni Railway Transport General Department and General Manager of Kangni France, on behalf of preparation work group of European Innovation Development Center, expressed a warm welcome and heartfelt gratitude to all the guests. She gave a detailed introduction on the background of European Innovation Development Center, its construction planning, implementation progress, operation safeguard mechanism and market outlook.
Mr. Gao Wenming, Vice Chairman and President of Kangni, delivered a speech at the unveiling ceremony, emphasizing that the establishment of the Kangni France European Innovation Development Center is an important company strategic to penetrate the European market and accelerate internationalization, and is a critical milestone in the international development of Kangni. Kangni France European Innovation Development Center still have 4 missions in the future: firstly, push the upgrading of products through technological innovation; Secondly, root deeply in the target European market and create a new outlook for overseas business development; Thirdly, search and train international talents to build a talent team with advantages; and lastly, be always brave to explore and act to push Kangni from internationalization to globalization.
Mr. Qian Long, Director Representative of Jiangsu Economic and Trade Representative Office in France, expressed his sincere congratulations to the establishment of Kangni France European Innovation Development Center, and welcomed Kangni to root in France and explore Europe. Kangni will share the fruitful results of Jiangsu’s economic transformation and modernized development with more projects in hands and more innovations turned into profits.
Mr. Wang Biao, Deputy Secretary-General of China Association of Metros, also delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. He praised Kangni’s long-term insistence on independent innovation and technology-driven achievements, with 3 additional expectations in Kangni’s future international development: First, devote ourselves to the R&D of cutting-edge technology to improve intelligence level of China rail transit equipment; Secondly, act as an exemplary enterprise to promote China rail transit industry to develop abroad with good quality and efficiency. And finally, improve the reputation of China rail transit equipment enterprises by branding in European market.
At the end of the ceremony, in the presence of all the guests, Ms. AMELIE LANDMANN, International Project Officer of Paris Region Industry and Commerce, and Mr. Bi Guangming, President and General Manager of Kangni Railway Transport General Department, jointly unveiled Kangni European Innovation Development Center, which marked its official establishment and a new chapter in Kangni’s development in Europe.
