On September 17, witnessed by Jacinta Allan, the Premier of Victoria, Australia, Kangni and Australia’s Assemco Company formally signed a cooperation Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the Alstom Shanghai office. Geng Ming, President of Alstom China, Liu Luoming, Assistant President of Kangni Group and General Manager of Railway Transport General Dept., and a delegation of manufacturers from Victoria attended the signing ceremony.

At the signing ceremony, Victoria Premier Jacinta Allan stated: “China is a global manufacturing superpower, and sharing expertise with China is of strategic value to us. This cooperation embodies the core objectives of the ‘China Strategy’—creating sustainable jobs, enhancing professional skills, and increasing market stability for Victorian industries through deepened international technological collaboration.”

According to the MOU, Assemco will leverage Kangni’s technical expertise to learn the latest technologies for the assembly, testing, and painting of ceiling materials in the Australian G-class tram project. This will establish a skill base applicable to other components and enhance Assemco’s capability to locally produce other interior fitting products.

The day after the signing ceremony, the Victorian delegation conducted a field visit to Kangni’s Railway Transport General Dept., intelligent manufacturing factory, test and inspection center, and Kangni Electronics, gaining an in-depth understanding of the company’s development history, technological R&D, and intelligent manufacturing capabilities.

This cooperation is not only a successful practice of Kangni’s technology export but also sets a benchmark for international cooperation through localized implementation, laying a solid capability foundation and brand advantage for future expansion in the Australian market. Moving forward, Kangni will use this project as a link to continuously explore new models of industrial synergy, actively participate in rail projects in Sydney, Melbourne, and other regions, support the construction of Australia’s railway transport industry chain, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
