On June 25th, Tibet’s Lhasa-Nyingchi Railway officially opened for operation. At the same time, the Fuxing plateau dual-source power centralized EMU was put into operation simultaneously.
Lhasa-Nyingchi Railway is an electrified express railway which connects Lhasa station of Lhasa City in Tibet Autonomous Region and Nyingchi station of Nyingchi City in Tibet Autonomous Region, which forms the significant part of Sichuan-Tibet Railway.
As the sole supplier of car-end connector, Kangni Technology (KNT) can meet customer requirements in project development stage, focusing on the convenience of overall installation of car and advanced nature of product. To meet application requirement of small car-end distance, KNT has developed a new generation of car-end connectors which are small in size, highly modular, and able to withstand severe environment of plateau.
The opening of Lhasa-Nyingchi Railway has made up blanks of railways in the southeastern part of Tibet, strengthen weaknesses influenced by climate in plateau areas. People of all ethnic groups in Tibet have realized their dreams of “Taking a bullet train to Lhasa”.
